I thought a string of old keys would make a great baby toy, until he stuck one in an electrical outlet. Went out later that day to buy outlet blockers and a set of plastic key toys.
My toddling grandson kept stealing the garage keys, which were on a ring with a rubber butterfly charm. I finally just put some old keys on that ring, and he’s happy as a clam at high tide.
