I see nothing wrong with Slim in the bathtub. t’s all a bit of good clean fun. In the 40s, Dagwood (Blondie) took frequent baths. They were also sometimes interrupted. The US has the most restrictive standards for TV of any “first world” country that I can think of. The regulations are absurd and the zero tolerance policy adopted around 2003 has made things worse. In Canada nudity – in a non-sexual context – can be shown at any time, while nudity in a sexual context is allowed after 9 p.m. If you think American TV is full of “porn” you don’t even want to think about TV in France, Italy or pretty much all of Europe. Probably South America too. So the question is really who is out of step?

Not all of Slim is showing thankfully. We never have that issue if choosing a tub bat unless sales shows up.
