Poor Fred, keeping up is hard on his short legs. Sometimes I wish these people had to bring Marmaduke with them!
Its not the short legs that are the problem – my dachshund has no trouble on much hillier terrain.
It might be the tummy to leg length ratio in Fred’s case. Too many stolen sausages.
Dachshunds are amazing dogs, our’s loves to hunt and very little stops her! and by the way she also loves her Yummies for her tummies!
Just go back to the car and take a nap, Fred…
