Trying to lessen bad by pointing to other bad does not negate a point.

Out of context. Nothing out of context there, Biden said you don’t need a AR15 and he was right. Like always the bogieman is the gun not the killer. That idiot Morgan was reporting that the gunman used an AR15 shotgun. All the media in such a hurry to get out the “news” none of them, and no one who listens to them cared or cares whether they were accurate in their reporting or not. Here is a thought, let’s wait until we actually have the facts.

The quote is from a Facebook Town Hall session. A woman asked Biden how people would be able to protect themselves if Congress banned assault rifles and high capacity gun magazines. He told her it wasn’t necessary to buy an assault weapon; that a shot gun would do just fine in a situation where a home owner needed to protect him/herself.Unlike Lester’s insinuation, Biden wasn’t encouraging people to just go out and buy a bunch of guns.

For the record, the murderer wasn’t a redhead. Political correctness much?

Nice try. He said it.And in a completely different context than what is being insinuated in Lester’s cartoon.

Biden’s POINT however was you don’t HAVE to kill someone! My neighbor fired a couple rounds from his shotgun up the hill a couple nights ago (no more houses up that way) to chase off the coyotes. And, a few pellets from a shotgun after not too many yards, won’t do much damage. However, a 30-06 after a mile is still quite lethal.

NOTE: a shot GUN, at close range IS one of the deadliest weapons you can use, and just chambering a round IS a sound that will send any burglar high-tailing!

^Had a GREAT hunting dog, she would find the birds, hold a perfect point, and flush on command, but the guy we got her from had shot her with small bird shot when a pup, for chasing chickens. All you had to do was chamber a round and Ara would be in the next county in a split second! (and we have BIG counties!!)

Oh, YES! She lived almost 21 years! She was my daughter’s protector, and best friend until she went off to college. (Daughter that is, not the dog.)
