Ooo, now she knows that the dog can talk. Cliffhanger.
Don’t know what it is, but cats (dogs, too) just have that effect on a lot of us. Not to the point of being a “blithering idiot,” but a lot of silly talk just comes out, and my voice usually goes up an octave.
