Looks like Alex knows how to push Betty’s buttons.

I like Alex. So glad to see her back.

I have to agree with richardwebster and c.davies. Alex is not to be trusted.

They will always be friends, but Betty will never trust her again.

My sister just got burned by a close friend that she just helped out when the friend’s husband left her. The friend is ignoring my sister’s attempts at communication, I guess because she owes her money. My sis will talk to her when she’s ready, but she’ll never help her again.

Better the devil you know, no surprises that way

Oh, Betty – don’t lose sight of the past! Didn’t you just hear what she said before she mentioned Italy!!!

Those kinds of friends are toxic. Best to get rid of them, not always easy though.

Oh come on everyone. She didn’t fire Betty because she wanted to. She fired Betty because it was her job to fire whoever her Boss told her to. Of course she could have handled it a little better, something like “It breaks my heart but I have been ordered to fire you.”, but then being blunt is just how she is. Betty should have realized that instead of taking it so personal.
