The refugee problem is getting real serious in the surrounds of Syria, but not unique to war zones. There remain many refugee areas around the world. While different cause, Haiti remains a “problem area”, then there’s Libya, Egypt, et al where “local threats” exist between groups of citizenry.
Fox News guest gave another “1984” Newspeak this morning, “War” is now “Peacemaking”, and occupation is “peacekeeping”.
Varney, only a million a pop for cruise missiles? I didn’t know you could get them cheaper off the lot USED!
Danziger is being illogical. There is no comparison. We’ve been at war since 2001 and Syria has been at ‘war’ with itself for less than three years. He’s comparing apples and ship anchors.Amazed,C.
The U.S. has been pretty much at war, since December 7, 1941. Ah, but “little wars”, like Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Grenada, and our covert operations, don’t get the recognition they deserve, for their impact on our national acceptance of a “war mentality”, and absurd spending on “defense”. Nah, nobody’s been brainwashed here by the MIC.
