Can any reasonable and civilized government just stand by and do nothing when a dictatorial Middle Eastern government uses such horrors as chemical warfare upon its own people? Does such inaction then not encourage such actions in the future? Or, even worse, encourage such dictatorships to use even worse biological weaponry, or worst of all eventually, even nuclear weaponry? Of course, this would then depend upon whether or not Assad and his military had actually used chemical weapons or not. Admittedly, the truth of this would have to be very great, or military action of any kind would be unwarranted!!
