A little young to be so psychotic. I doubt the years of psychotherapy will actually help her much. Probably what TV and such is doing to her. Compared to what she sees, her life is just horrible. Little does she know, she’s comparing her life to something that doesn’t even really exist. sad…..

Having been a teen-aged girl back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth I know how Holly feels. I don’t understand her – I couldn’t understand myself – but I know how she feels.

It’s just the normal changes of the teenage brain. The rewiring turns quite a few into night owls. And in reasoning skills, they bounce between ages 3 and 30.

Holly looks like an old woman. She should get more sleep.

Having watched two or three generations mature, I can say that those who will later be diagnosed with depression can be really grumpy during their teen years. Not to make a blanket statement, but some of it is genetic.

Or, OTOH, it COULD just be Holly being a normal, grumpy teenager who does NOT want to get up before 7 AM!Sheesh, people; remember Freud’s old saying:“Sometimes a cigar is JUST a cigar.”
