Yes, and some people kiss dogs on the mouth! I was fine with Cuddles Cockatoo. She did not even want to step on anything dirty. The only non-food thing she tried to eat was bubbles in the sink. (detergent foam looked like whipped topping to her) but she understood when I told her “no”. I had to substitute something good though.
Our chocolate (like Sophie) Lab eats grass, cat poop, dog poop, banana peels, pieces of sticks, bugs, Dr. Pepper, flowers, bird feathers, apple cores, Starbucks cup residue, watermelon rind… but not spinach. He has standards.
