i didn’t know snoopy is suffering from war shock.

He also progresses rapidly through bouts of carotenemia and argyria and, apparently, a bad sun burn that he shares with Charlie Brown.

I don’t think it should be possible to get PTSD solely from your own imagination.

Also: Notice Snoopy red colored in some panels and blue in one panel? Charlie Brown even turns red in one panel.

it’s been 40+ years,but I sometimes wake up screaming from a dream / memory. don’t know what triggers them.

Darn that PTSD.

Charlie Brown looks so cute! Snoopy can only sleep on the ridge of the roof. Everybody knows that.

Another rare night where Snoopy sleeps with CB. CB must not have been sleeping the whole time, since there’s no speech bubble with a “Z” in it, in all but one.

Looks to me like Snoopy has insomnia. I used to have it. I would just lie in bed, unable to shut down my thoughts. Nothing as exciting as Snoopy’s thoughts. It was the most mundane thoughts about all of the work I was doing or needed to do.

Was his name Mutt?

And once again Charlie Brown makes the observation…“Why can’t I have a normal dog like everyone else?”
