    ^^Fat is less dense than muscle or bone, so it is easier to float if you have a higher percentage of fat. In other words, there is more upward pressure on a per-pound basis. Look up Archimedes Principle if you want to know why things float (like a steel ocean liner). Thanks for tuning in to this episode of Science on Sunday AM!
