Where I live if you don’t put you lights on during any kind of inclement weather, you can get a ticket, regardless of the time of day. Maybe the oncoming car with his brights on was trying to tell him to slow down, cop ahead, but then again maybe he’s just as clueless. Daytime running lights are now required on all newer vehicles. Too bad their lights are brighter than they are. lol
I think the law here is you must urn on your headlights if your windshield wipers are on. So I use Rain X and don’t often have to use my wipers at all, so I don’t need to turn mine on during a rain. I wonder if Burl has figured that out? He might have his lights connected to the wiper switch, so if he uses intermittent they will blink on and off.
I avoid driving whenever possible (never liked to. .Unfortunately we can’t even see what Joy’s wearing because she might even be Oscar-worthy in her style. Someone wore a dress of that infamous GWOF and when this week’s Fashion Police arrives in my TiVo que, I’m sure it will be voted best worst dressed for the evening..Joan Rivers IS a few years my senior, but some of her comments lately are outrageous even by MY standards – like the ones last week on Johnny Weir (others she just mumbles but those 2 were very clear). And one of them I would not have understood, were it not for Andy Cohen’s show.
