I should think that this horrific storm would render Doubleup’s whip ineffective; but Mumbles’ gun will do just fine.But once the Consortium crew shows up, there is going to be a lot of lead flying (as I’ve said before). When Apparatus, Consortium, and MCU draw down, who will be an intended target, who will be caught in the crossfire, who will be an innocent (?) victim of the Showdown at the Wheaton Farm?

Q: The quotes of Sail & Ghote discussing their ability to track Mysta, was that said to each other or so Mysta could hear it?

A major storm brewing at the Wheaton’s, in more ways than one!

And shooting the wrong person fits right into Flintheart’s remarks, methinks….PatrickDC202: I think Neil Wicks comments are right on points one and two. After shaking up lunar girl, I’m pretty sure Sail hung up, and quickly, to make sure she stayed shook up. As for whether he told her he can track her or he told Ghote after he hung up on her, does it really matter? The message was already delivered..The last point is somewhat of a mystery. Did Mysta tell Tracy what happened? Did Mysta have the time to tell Tracy?.A lot, sometimes too much, is happening between panels..But the coolness of Sparkle to Mysta strongly suggests that more has been said than we have been told!

Oh, yeah. This is the second week that I now check Dick Tracy on Seattle PI first before coming to Go Comics..The colors are just that much better.

There has been a lot of speculation about just who Vitamin Flintheart meant when he made his stage remarks about something bad happening to someone dear to him, and how bad it will be. I don’t know either, but one thing to remember about Vitamin – he has always been a very big ham. Over the course of his appearances in the strip, he has been depicted as emoting and waxing poetic even over trivial daily details in his life. So, things may not be as bad as he would lead us to believe. Maybe.

There’s going to be Lightning! Both Mumbles and Mysta are Mark II creations. But where’s Nellie?

Finally, the classic Tracy bad guys are back! Where’s Mrs. Flattop? I wish her husband was still alive. He’s the best Tracy Villian ever wouldn’t you agree?

The Red Sweater artist is better than that! (except in the S&M series!)

For what it’s worth, has anyone heard from Dick Locher? If I recall, isn’t he the last to have had any contact with Chester Gould? Wonder what he thinks of where the strip has gone since he retired…

@Nightshade09The art but also the repetition… I don’t remember exactly, but that contains parts of about 3-4 different Sunday strips. A month where Sam and Lizz did nothing but stand around talking about the weather.
