" wonder why all the dems were calling Juanita Broaddrick a liar and then pointing out that statute of limitations had run out on the alleged rape?"
Keyword here chuckles is alleged rape. Unless there is hard evidence (no pun intended) that Clinton did such a thing then its the same as War Shrub allegedly raping a woman who coincidentially turned up dead after her allegations.
Juanita Broadrick was, like many of Clinton’s accusers, a terrible witness. First she swore that Clinton did not assault her. Then she changed her story. She failed a lie detector test & two of the people she claims to have told at the time, hate Clinton because he reduced the life sentence of a man who murdered their father. She also failed a lie detector test. I’m sure Clinton had affairs before Monica Lewinski, but the claims of rape & abuse look politically motivated.Filner, on the other hand is a slime & should step down.
An interesting difference between (D) and® does appear to be their sex scandals. (D) problems seem silly and immature.® problems are really creepy and sociopathic. Kind of defines their policy differences as well.I gotta disagree with you on this one. Normally, I would say an affair, even if it’s the creepy sort that Gingrich & Edwards engaged in, is not the same as a politician who thinks he’s on the set of Mad Men. Extra-marital affairs don’t automatically disqualify someone from office. Republicans who cheat are more accountable because they campaign as the party of morals. Spitzer would also fall in that boat, though. There’s a difference between philanderers & sociopathic abusers, but both parties have plenty of both to pick from. I see it as another form of the hubris that leads these (mostly) men to seek elected office.

Hey David, I hate to burst your bubble – no not really – but Filner is a Democrat.
