As a former telemarketer I must say, it’s a job. It feeds the family. It’s legal. And at least those working in that call center aren’t out there mooching on welfare. Our society is big on not mooching but the minute someone gets in a legal job, people start complaining about them. This is true not just for telemarketing but also parking enforcement officers, tow truck people, lawyers, ect.
