This is a serious question….Do the lines on the friend’s face represent color? A tan? In 1975, did all creators use this method? Just wanted to get your guy’s views.
I think this artist did not use grey tones. Hatching is a valid technique to show darkness.Emmy Lou has a friend with a dark complexion.Simple.
