I don’t hang my clothes out on a line. Too many birds in my area to risk having to wash them again.
With plenty of nearby branches, the birds may land on my clothes, but seldom do anything while there. More difficult was the bird who accompanied me to events (I learned to take along a spare veil for my head) ;-D
