Three people are in for a watery surprise.

when I was a kid this was the way we stayed cool in the summer. Never had a wading pool or even went to a public pool. When we wanted to go swimming we used to go to the river. Now days lakes and rivers are so polluted it is better to just stay home……may try the sprinkler thing again. lol

Joan must have a force field around her where the water doesn’t hit her. Lucky! ;-)

You know, these “You Gotta Love August” non-comic strips get old, year after year after year. Enough already!

Reminds me of an incident at work some years ago… A lot of fun had by all, including the boss.

Wondered how soon the water fun would start.

What a good memory this brings back! Family water fights with the neighbors with hoses and anything else we could think of was so fun.

When I was a kid we loved playing under the sprinkler but couldn’t do it for long because the parents would worry about the water bill.

Wise old Indian saying:“Every party has a party pooper.”

Water of course.

Ice cold spring-fed cricks to swim in..for THAT y’gotta love August ! Also good for keepin’ the Schaefer Beer cold in the hayin’ season !
