The team I was on at work, when cell phones started to become common, had some of rules. Never call us from your cell phone while in the rest room, never answer a call from us while in the rest room, never go into the rest room while on while talking to us on the phone.
I only worry in stalls if there’s no hook for my purse (on floor- eeew!) I only do what needs doing there. I avoid public ones when I can and have so far avoided the portable kind. I still remember trying to hold my breath in those “out houses” where my parents took us on vacation in the Dells.
I once had a woman get mad at me because I flushed the toilet while she was on the phone in the next stall. She had to tell the caller that she was in the bathroom, then, and got embarrassed. He-ello, I am not the one dumb enough to have a conversation in the restroom. That’s just gross and completely unnecessary. Can’t you wait three minutes?
