Nah, the purple geniuses wouldn’t come to study just that — it wouldn’t be worth the trip. They’re probably doing a study of the entire Earth, and this is just one stop. No doubt they’ll compile a long list of the strange, contradictory and destructive things that earthlings do, and they’ll turn it into a brilliant scientific paper. Then some publishing genius on their planet will condense it down into a little novelty book called “14000 Weird Things They Do on Earth” and it’ll be a huge success.
