Thank you for your attempt to come off sounding like the smartest person in the room. I simply adore the way you assume that writing something in the same smug tone one would write a letter to the New Yorker somehow makes you sound witty and urbane.
Also, it is simply the height of drollness that, instead of debating Deer Flatener, you simply attempt to dismiss his points without offering any real susbstance of your own. But of course you attempt to cover that up by being snide. How delightful! You must be a Hipster!

This can go on all day long. So let’s just cut to the chase. Despite what you may believe, not everyone who disagrees with you is ignorant. Some of your points are correct and some, I know you’ll find this difficult to believe, are not.
My point is, debate the points instead of hiding behind some smarmy rhetoric. If you couldn’t understand that, take a few classes yourself.
. the EPA was created to protect the environment, in many ways it has seen success such in a way you can safely throw a match into the love canal without fear of it combusting.
The DoE has little to no enforcement capability, as such it will have little to no impact, those whom want greater state rights wish to either A remove it or B keep it as it is. This is a case of a failed middle road.
The department of agriculture itself provides little protection to farmers, little protection against land grabs. It works more in favor of large farms.
However I will mention that reduction in farmers is a process that occurred over the past century as crop yield went up. A 2% oversupply can be enough to drop prices by 10% as a result most people don’t want to enter the industry.
The constitution is not meant as a singular piece of legislation that controls all things in the USA. It is a backbone. Most departments were either unnecessary or thought of when the country was begin founded. Things such as the EPA would be absurd as the total population of the continent was less than 3 million.
The war department ( as it was up until ww2) was historically created as a military department, It would be used to capture new land & to be used in defense.
Terrorism was not in the cultural lexicon up until the 90’s however in more recent times it has had such labels ascribed to it as to justify its gargantuan size in relativity to the rest of the world

The EPA doesn’t write laws, Congress does. Regulations are supposed to implement laws, though under Reagan, many did the opposite of what the law called for. (I had to monitor regs as part of my job at the time.) That some of those regulations may inconvenience corporate profit taking, is the real problem “conservatives” have with the agency.
Hmm, NEPA is what created the whole thing and was signed into law by Nixon with a Republican Congress, what a bunch of environmental whackos they were!!

The EPA is much needed, but limited by the politicos, who are limited by their need for campaign financing. .The problem is that campaign finance laws create bribery. Yes, good old-fashioned bribery. .Bribery is illegal under the common law. Completely illegal, always has been..So our legislators try to redefine it by statues in such a way that they cannot be prosecuted for taking what amount to bribes. The courts uphold them. Why?.The answer is simple, bribery is allowed to go all the way though the system and plays a major role in selecting the members of our highest courts..Let’s not become anarchists. We need government. But GOOD government.
