My neighbor’s kid was like that. Very chubby and then he hit puberty and turned into a slim hunk.

A kid I knew grew a foot in one year. Now one of my sons grew 7 inches in one year. It hurts!

I knew a few girls that became quite heavy after puberty hit so it isn’t always a given that someone will slim down. Chad’s grandmother is right in that he needs to learn now how to control his eating habits so they don’t control him.-——Was it ever explained why Chad is living with his grandmother?

Seasisme: I did a foot in 12 months too. Fortunately, my voice changed during the summer. We had a teacher who constantly picked on boys who were changing.
