Turn it off for the first 8 hrs. in the AM when all the info adds are on. They can go to the dollar mart and buy what they don’t need. Taping shows and watching them later kinda contradicts the goal doesn’t it?
On my last assignment, I stayed in a hotel for 5 weeks. I only watched TV once. A Cinderella story played by fat old guys in drag, performed in Arabic. I lasted about 10 minutes. I spent the rest of the time on important things, like playing Candy Crush on my Ipod…….
I agree with Dunestrider, the only way to make a difference is to contact the sponsors and let them know exactly how you feel and what you plan to do. Then go public. Adios Glenn Beck, for example.
Of course, wwe could never expect the Pennys to deny themselves anything for any reason.
You could download movies/burn them to blueray, and/or stream them to your tv whenever you want. Tired of that lame Am.’s Fav.[Home]Videos show? go to youtube and search “Fail”. web is much better that tv, and free, too.
I just realized I’d not made a comment on here today ? I have to go with Marge on that one- I vote for all the violence and adult programming (although I don’t watch Big Brother – my daughter once forced me to watch Survivor with her – OH! and also the movie Avatar at her house). I don’t share her taste. I DO watch I.D. channel too much (not really good for my BP) and I recommend Logo Channel for the other kind, Marge.
Admittedly, I insisted my daughter watch the Si Fi Channel version of Alice with me (I have it saved on DVD).
