Assad’s forces could take out thousands of jihadist fighters, while his military would be weakened, but in the end they would prevail and we would not have lost a single soldier.Sounds good to me.

Why should we have waited till it was to late and the options are totally unacceptable? The Muslim Brotherhood has never been someone we wanted to give arms to, but now there are no choices as they are intertwined with the people of Syria trying to get a hold of their own country. Who will end up with the military arms when this is said and done? We have seen what happen when this occurs. Egypt is still in turmoil with the Brotherhood trying to get the foothold without setting off to many alarms. It has just begun again with the appointment of another Islamist governor.

We are now up against the wall and the left may have gotten what they did not want. We did not go to war and left it up to talks as Obama said he wanted instead of confrontation. I am not saying I wanted war, and I don’t want it now, the arms may end up in the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood. Whether this group will end up as the the one in Egypt will not be known until then, as we were led to believe with Mohamed Morsi. We have seen what can occur and have current situations to lead us to question it now.

I’m really waiting for the day when “Ima” shows any actual knowledge, on any subject.

BTW, as slow as things are still going, Obama has done far more for the troops and veterans than “W”, or his dad, ever did. A big start is getting them out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, in Libya there were not boots on the ground and no casualties, and Gadaffi went out of the picture with Libyans doing it. We need to let the Syrians do the same, as we should have done in ’91 with Saddam in Iraq.

While Syria IS a mess, and will be for a long time it seems, it’s not up to the U.S. to determine “good guy/bad guy” or who should run things. Just pay attention to how good things are going with “W” and Rice’s boy Karzai, our one true “friend” in Afghanistan.

All Ima’s comments go over our heads because they’re all hot air. Hey, Mr/Ms/Whatever, your boy McCain wanted to stay out of Libya, but he wants to go in to Syria? Why didn’t he pick up a gun and fight while he was over there?
