Excellent point, coach. But, if you factor in human error or natural disaster, then it is possible that a walk is not as good as a hit.....

Factor in that our infield stinks and out fielders are a joke…Then again, the batter could trip over his own shoe laces…

When there’s a runner on third base, a walk is certainly NOT as good as a hit.
