Smart man to get out of reach of the “government of the free” before going public. Otherwise he might be “rendered” into a secret prison somewhere and disappear without a trace. – Oh, wait, isn’t that supposed to be done only in Chili and parts south? Surely the US would never do anything like that.

It’s looking more and more like Glen Greenwald put this guy up to pulling this stunt. Right now he’s running around Hong Kong offering to give secrets to anyone who will talk to him. Including the manner in which the NSA has been involved with signal intelligence with in China. He has to know of the often tense relationship between the US and China. These are not the actions of a patriot. They are more the actions of a nihilist hacker who just want’s to see everything burn.

A famous man once said “Treason is usually a matter of timing.”

It always depends on who writes the history books. And that always depends on who won. The founding fathers were traitors to England but heroes to America. Who knows how history will judge Snowden. Given contemporary Americans’ great desire to give up their freedom for fleeting phantoms of security, I’m not betting on Snowden at this point.

Arnold was a war hero who betrayed the revolution because he thought it was in the best interest of the people based on his perspective. I’d say he’s the nation’s first so-called traitriot.

‘Treason Never Prospers!’ What’s the reason? Why, if it prosper, none dare call it ‘Treason.’
