In my neighborhood around 8:00 PM one dog will bark, then another until all of them are barking. This only lasts for about 5 minutes. I think they are telling each other about the stupid things their humans did today?
My neighbors dog barks a LOT . . . at NOTHING. Just stands in the middle of the yard looking around barking. I don’t know what song he thinks he’s singing, but I wish he’d stop!However, I can tell the difference if he really is barking AT someone or something. When he gets that deep down growl in his bark I check to see what’s going on.

I think dogs do bark at nothing sometimes, just to hear themselves…..

The dogs are barking at the Silence. Only they can hear and see the Silence….and you gotta admit that’s pretty scary

it was mainly on cold, crisp mornings…. my dog would bark, and bark and bark. Sometimes trying out different sounds.
