Wallstreet and corporations haven’t taken anything. You spend what you don’t have, gamble what you can’t aford to lose, and either know nothing worth being paid for or are to lazy to work. No one owes you and you determine wheather you will owe or not. Start some kind of business or move to where there are more jobs and of course crack open a book and learn something. No it’s not easy but anything worth while takes work. I’m a high school drop out making $70k having taught myself electronics when I was a kid. I would recomend learning to write Apps for Android or IPhone (or both). It’s a growth field. or you could just be another liar.
Gee, you must be a world champion spender! How many of those things you purchased on credit do you actually NEED? Have you ever heard of saving for tough times? It’s called self-sufficency. Something that’s practically non-existent these days!
No one should judge how someone lives. When the company I worked for, for nearly 22 years, decided to downsize I had to look at some options. My husband and I were living from paychecks to paychecks. Saving was minimal to pay for property taxes and insurance. I qualified for early retirement and took it to avoid being laid off. I started looking for work soon after. No one would hire me probably due to my age and having worked in one position for 22 years. The age part would be hard to prove. There was no way to go to a higher position within that office and almost 3 years after retiring from the company, it closed it’s doors for good in my state. Not everyone was working a high paying job when they got laid off. And finding work is even harder still when other companies are doing the same. Not everyone can afford to retrain despite the financial aid, because there is no guarantee you will be hired and you’re stuck with the school loan debt. And not everyone is tech minded or has the disposition to be a medical aide. When a particular job market gets glutted, there is simply no open positions. I’ve also heard of employers putting out ads for workers, but one of the stipulations was no unemployed people need apply, which I thought was totally insane since those people could start work immediately.
