I dated a guy who proposed to every woman he slept with…lucky for them that most of them just laughed at him. I think he’s on wife number seven now…I heard he married her a full 24 hours before his previous divorce was final.

I’d much rather be alone than that desperate. I DID remain alone for over 2 decades because I only want this man (and I moved hundreds of miles away. He still doesn’t understand that, but when we’re together it’s magic!

Poor Rena! She looks so down in that last panel. :-(I’ve been there though, and I don’t think I’m that picky. I just wanted a man who would treat me with respect, who had some brains and who I could have fun with. It seemed like I only met guys who didn’t want a relationship. Fortunately I finally found one, but it took a while and I really thought it would never happen.
