One of my favorites was when Daffy Duck visited the farm where Foghorn Leghorn and the dog lived. He was a salesman for the Acme Novelty Company of Walla Walla, Washington.
To me, it is somewhat odd that Wiley purchases goods continually from Acme instead of merely buying food. Of course, that would hardly be a very funny cartoon. Hmm.
Somewhere on the internet there is a toon in which Wile E catches and eats the roadrunner but then falls into a deep depression because he no longer has any purpose in life.
I’d like to see a cartoon in which it looks as tho the roadrunner got blown to smithereens. The coyote does a victory dance — until he realizes there’s nothing left to eat. He falls into a funk. Then the roadrunner, who had merely zipped away during the explosion, beeps at him from behind. Despite his headache from crashing thru a rock overhang yet again, the coyote is happy to know he failed.

This version was apparently pirated in 2009 by a Croatian fellow who changed the ending and put his name on the flag Wiley Coyote is waving.
In the original, the Roadrunner doesn’t get eaten!
