Anyone remember the problems for a guy who published the “Pentagon Papers”, anyone follow Asange or the Army dude who allowed “secret” documents to be published? Anyone remember the WW II poster; “Loose lips sink ships”? There ARE some times when the press should have some responsibility for what they publish if it violates law on “classified information”. Which btw, is why the “W” administration “classified” almost EVERYTHING, including toilet paper brands preferred (if they could) to keep the public from knowing what they were doing. (That still affects us today, to a severe extent, like dead and wounded soldiers,civilians, and numerous countries in the Middle East with adequate reason to “hate us”.)
