I was in my canoe, fishing, and plotting the death of all jet skiers who don’t show consideration for others.

Jen Sorenson: “I was uploading my snarky political cartoon to a data center on the northeastern power grid where it will live forever on a spinning array of disks with fans blowing on them.”

Jen: I know you can ignore the right-wing nut jobs without my help. Still, let me say this cartoon is magnificent. Thank you!

The landscape company trimmed my hyacinth with a gas powered hedge trimmer. Then they used a leaf blower to blow the clippings into the street. Then they have a vacuum truck that drives around at about 20 mph, vacuuming up the clippings.

You’re not much of a fan of science, are you?

To the broom question: Americans are too lazy to use one.

To the Science article: Stop it; you’re making the creationists cry.

You’re a brave man, Mr. Night-Gaunt49, trying to speak sense to onguard. I kind of doubt that he’s listening, though.

And where is Ima on this thread? She’s usually first with some dopey denialist drivel.

What about extinction? Do you think that that would put a crimp in some people’s lifestyle? Or is your philosophy “Après nous, le déluge?”I can guarantee you that the capitalists don’t care.

Re Gore: Look up “ad hominem” on a site devoted to logical fallacies.

Re desensitization: I’m sorry you don’t care about anyone except yourself. Perhaps it would help if things moved faster? Would you like to see the Greenland ice cap suddenly slide into the sea?

The Brazilian rain forest isn’t completely gone yet, either. Are you desensitized to that as well? Are you admitting to having a short attention span?

I apologize if reading these responses has cut into the time you spend watching Faux News.

He’s already established that he does not care about anyone else; certainly no one in the next generation or two. He resembles congress in that way.

You nailed it, dude. But I’m guessing that ansonia put his fingers in his ears and started singing the Star-Spangled Banner. I don’t think science is his long suit, if you catch my drift…
