The World police country failed. Get used to it. There are a lot of orphaned and family-injured Muslims world wide who see turning Jihadist as a good option.
After September 11, 2011, I was angry! No one attacks my home and gets away with it! The terrorist did not evoke fear but anger. The U in the United States became important again.
A leader is a dealer in hope.A leader unites the team to a common cause. What is needed is leadership.Quit trying to blame President Bush for doing what he did best, Unite the Country and restore safety. What I have now is President Obama dividing us into voter groups, he is in perpetual campaign mode. Where is the leadership?
I really wonder if any of the Bush haters believe any other President would have prevented 9/11. That is the difference between Bush and Obama. When 9/11 did happen, Bush did what he felt was proper. Most people stood behind his choice. Going into Iraq was possibly the wrong decision, though Saddam did need to go as does the Syrian Leader. Obama has trouble getting anyone to stand behind his decision on anything. Let’s see Obama get mad at his cabinet when problems arise instead of looking into it until it goes away.
Nope, you and masterskrain are both wrong. Clinton DID try to go after bin Laden, and made sure he was in the briefing papers for Bush. The person who presented the infamous letter describing the 9/11 plan was told, by Bush, “all right, you’ve covered your ass.” And then he went fishing. Literally.
"Quit trying to blame President Bush for doing what he did best, Unite the Country and restore safety."I don’t know what country you lived in, but the USA under bush became more divided and as evidenced by the largest massacre of American civilians in history. Indeed that massacre was caused by division (the CHOICE of the bush admin to ignore ALL of the warnings) and laziness. He then leveraged every piece of equity the country had to stuff the pockets of the military industrial complex.it will clearly take many lifetimes to overcome the divisions and pay the price for his inactions and actions. It’s difficult to forgive. Now his party, in an effort to paint him as NOT the worst president ever, is opposing every and anything the following administration would like to do and damn the country, all for the bush legacy.it’s difficult to forgive, especially while it continues to happen.

I think there is very little doubt that president gore would not have ignored and outright dismissed the continued warnings from the ‘clinton’ cabinet and just went fishin’. The complete dismissal of the information provided by Richard Clarke simply would not have happened under gore.now the republican spin machine, of course, sets out to discredit Mr. Clark and thereby justifies the bush administrations willful ignoring his warnings. Too bad he was right. There was also a 60 minutes interview with bin laden 4 months before 9-11 where he alluded to the upcoming attack quite openly. Unfortunately that interview seems to have been scrubbed from the web and from history. there’s one for the conspiracy theorists. why I don’t understand.
Well, it looks like you don’t care if the government wastes the people’s money. It has nothing to do with political sides. It has everything to do with the amount of wasted money going to unstable companies because (not all) they contribute to your campaign or lobby your constituents.

“……Wait though… Obama said “al Qaeda is on its heels.”……”.And possibly that is true. Its just that there’s getting to be so many of them.
