And Nara is very wise concerning the age of the donuts.

And Alice thinks it’s a petting zoo.

Alice will pet the hot dogs and then eat them. This is the best petting zoo!!

Poor Miss Bliss, I don’t think you can buy a map with the way back to sanity at a gas station.

Miss Bliss is buying an out of state map at this point. The kids are on their own and seem quite happy about it.

Oh, this has GOT to be better than a petting zoo!

A male teacher wouldn’t need directions

I think she wants directions around the traffic snafu - but I like the idea that it’s an out-of-state map better!

Dudes! She needs a map because of the unscheduled potty stop and that it would be foolish to get back on the freeway for ten more miles of back-up. She’s looking for another way.

Of course a man would just end up in NYC driving by instinct rather than admit needing assistance. We nearly spent the night at the zoo once because the ex wouldn’t ask for a jump after leaving the lights on all day. We watched everyone leave before he would even attempt a rolling start. Thank goodness he knew how to pop a clutch since so few do these days (yes, I know how too). Manual shift is the greatest modern theft deterrent.

She left them alone in the snack aisle. Talk about feeding the animals. No kid could resist that temptation.

“burritos, hot dogs and donuts, many older than me!” — way too funny esp. when I’ve been places where I could almost say the same thing and I’m over 50!

I like their eyes - so wide with delight and wonder at the sights of the snack aisle!
