“Just checking in to see how the 1% crazies are going to think today. Ted is always good for supporting terrorists.”And yet the point of this carton is not wrong. A border fence with Mexico won’t stop any of Timothy McVeighs, Ted Kaczynskis, John Walker Lindhs, or Nidal Malik Hasans. They were all born here. It’s also quite likely the Boston bombing suspects didn’t become anti-American radicals until after they became citizens.

These two comments prove to me that there are people who will never get it. This is the kind of cartoon that makes me proud to do what I do. And my cartoonist friends all love it.

So Ted goes back almost 4 years to find a Muslim terrorist that attacked us(and was born here) to criticize any talk of being more discriminating about who we let in after the Boston Terror Attack.Of course no mention of THE WORST terror attack, 9/11, but that doesn’t fit Ted’s open border agenda.

You must not read comments here much. Taking Michael wme or NeoConMan’s comments at face value is to miss the point completely.

People throw around the word “citizen” without even knowing what it means. To set the record straight, I will quote from a U. S. Supreme Court case.

Citizenship is membership in a political society, and implies the reciprocal obligations as compensation for each other of a duty of allegiance on the part of the member and a duty of protection on the part of the society.”

    - Luria v. United States – 231 U.S. 9 (1913)

How can anyone claim to be a “citizen of the United States, United States citizen” or whatever wording they choose to come up with when the government has no duty to protect anyone. Do a search on your favorite search engine for the term “police have no duty to protect”. You might be surprised by what you find. Since the government has no legal duty to protect anyone, how can anyone claim to be a “citizen”?

If you want to learn more about this check out www.marcstevens.net and listen to some of the archived shows and start thinking for yourself. Aslo check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WFg5O3vB1s

Yes, and ditto for the creationists and fundamentalists. It’s called “Poe’s Law”: Without a blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of extremism or fundamentalism that someone won’t mistake for the real thing.I thought the cartoon was great, and that anyone who can’t detect the rather blunt humor should really work on his or her reading skills.

This comment (with which I agree) has been up for a whole hour, and yet Ima hasn’t posted that “accidents happen.” I’m shocked.
