I remember that game! Only we played it until you passed out or died. I don’t recall anyone actually dying, but we “passed out” with lots of drama all the time!

The TV show “Wonder Woman” brought this back into vogue in the late 70s and early 80s.

I played it too! Just that we used to do it on benches and whoever fell off first won, and then we’d launch their shoes into the sky. :-) The part where the shoes fell on someone’s head was fun!
