By including so many groups in their party, how do you figure the Democrats “divide Americans”, Onguard? We have a very diverse populace, many of whom aren’t rich white heterosexual christian males, and so can’t identify with the Republicans.
Have you learned that Chechens aren’t from the Czech Republic yet, Tigger? For that matter, have you learned from your other errors from http://www.gocomics.com/patoliphant/2013/04/16/?view=full ?
“.Rep Cons only see Americans, inclusive”C’mon, Onguard. Have you already forgotten Romney’s “47%” comment? Have you missed all the recent stories about Republicans finally trying to “reach out” to Hispanics? I suppose you hope we’’ll forget that Fox News’ Erik Rush recently broadcast "Muslims are evil. Let’s kill them all’? Did you miss all the anti-gay laws Republicans are responsible for? Gonna pretend that the GOP’s War on Women never happened?
Pelosi a clown? How so? Whether as Speaker or as minority leader she’s been far more effective than any of the ghastly incompetents put up by the GOP. Oh, she had Botox treatments? So what? Your man, Boehner, dyes his skin orange. Ad hominems are a two edged sword, especially for Republicans.
Not every Republican is rich or powerful, true. The problem is that those in “the masses” who are on the lower end of the scale, or even “middle class”, are more than a little stupid, and acting against their own best interests.
It is important to note that just as Democrats today are NOT the “Dixiecrats” of old who fought integration and civil rights, so today the “Republican” leadership of today has nothing to do with the party of the fifties and even the sixties when it was NIXON who signed critical environmental laws that DID change the course away from the disaster modern “Republicans” want to see happen, for short-term profits.
Even GHW Bush pushed for and signed the Americans with Disabilities Act, demonstrating some social conscience that is totally lacking in the “party” today.
