Ah pleasant conversation! Speaking from experience, when your teacher is mad, it is generally NOT a good idea to comment if he got any madder he might be able to spit his Adams apple out. Ouch.

There is no excuse to be rude. Ok, maybe to someone like a thief or someone like that. But no teacher should be rude. Even if the student is rude, they have an excuse. They are children.

Maybe he asked her, alllllll frienddddly-like, to be excused from continuing taking the exam on account of it read like Greek to him. Chortle! CHORTLE!!

Nate is overlooking the fact that student and teacher are not equals. If he gave her respect and behaved properly in her class then he might have ground for complaint if she treated him badly. As a child, one should respect one’s elders.
