I mis “Loblaws”, a Canadian chain that was in the upstate New York area until the mid-70s. My younger sister called it “Blah Blahs” when she was a toddler.

for those of us that were wondering where this comic was based at, this is a clue … Piggly Wigglys are only found in the south … with that in mind I’m going with Florida.

There used to be a Piggly Wigglys in Wisconsin where I lived many years ago. Don’t there are any more in the north.
