The “pre-Alicians”. :-) I love it. .I remember being about that age and believing that “the end of the world” was Stockbridge Avenue, because I’d never been to the other side of it. The other side was totally cloaked in darkness and mystery. Until one day my family did go that way, and I was amazed, and a little disappointed, that it looked just like our side. And then my mind got blown even further when I realized that the world just keeps going and going and going and going …
