Norman: I hate social gatherings. Ralph: Me too, son. It's hard for me to talk to strangers. But we need to make the effort! Everyone needs to step out of their comfort zone occasionally! Norman: That's my problem, dad... I don't have a comfort zone! Ralph: My comfort zone is the area around the dessert table!

The trick is to get people to talk about themselves. Paradoxically if you’re a good listener people will think you’re a wonderful conversationalist.

I know that this is just a comic strip, but does anyone else get embarrassed for the Drabbles? I do sometimes and it’s usually when Ralph makes an @$$ of himself around other people……like AT A WEDDING RECEPTION!!!
