Getting mighty tired of all the comments about re-runs.

For all those who complain about the reruns…

How do you know Darby does not have personal issues (illness, aging family member, etc.) that keep him from creating a new comic every day? Maybe his contract is for a set amount of strips and that’s it. Where is it written that a comic strip has to be new every day? This is 2013, you’re on the Internet, go read another comic strip or a thousand; it’s not 1935 and we’re not reading Little Orphan Annie. Leapin’ lizards!

Stop being a d-bag. Where’s your comic strip…? That’s right your not “good enough of a cartoonist” to create one.

Time for Buck to experience a little slap down, me thinks. Non-violent, of course. Just to remind him there are limits to how much you can bite the hand that feeds you.

What happened to the rat problem?

I also think these endless reruns are annoying. I come here each day hoping for something new.

(1) If everyone hated reruns, the Calvin & Hobbes collections would never be read again.

(2) I can always count on the comments talking about reruns. If it’s not a new strip, they’re to the tune of “another rerun?” If it is a new strip, it’s more like “I’m so glad today isn’t a rerun!”

(3) “Squeal like a cow, Rob!” That’s hilarious!! And I love Bucky’s faux-empathetic expression in that panel, too.

Buck’s face in 3 is priceless.
