If Gracie is making the “State of the Family” speeches, does that mean that she is the one in charge of the family? Shouldn’t it be Sergio (as the head of the household) that delivers the speech, in as much as “State of the Union” speeches are given by the President and “State of the State” speeches are given by the Governor? Gracie, you are a cutie, but you seem to be overstepping your boundaries a bit.

I’m afraid so, NoBrandName.
Joe, TheGrueAttacks was saying that Tia Carmen not wanting to miss her favorite show (the telenova) because of a speech preempting it was possibly an allusion to people potentially missing their favorite show (in this case, Lost) due to the televised Presidential speech by Pres. Obama. The comment had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the type of program that a telenova is, nor did TheGrueAttacks show any distinction as to knowing what a telenova is or not. You jumped to a conclusion that was incorrect, thus NoBrandName making the comment that you were being oblivious (that is, not understanding what was being talked about, and not seeming to understand that you don’t understand).
