We neglected to read Poppy Bush’s script, when he said “Read my lips; KNOW new taxes!”, and didn’t read Dubya’s DNA, when he said “I’m declaring War on TERRA!”

Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean someone’s not out to get you! But, all evidence to the contrary, there are those who think whomever is president will be sending drones, allowing Cuban troops, building six-lane roads through the heartland, etc.

It’s not a delusion when the AG takes as long as he did to say “No.”

“…Senator Paul stands against the killing of American citizens without due process, stands against a tyrant who would gladly kill his enemies if he could just get away with it …” When did he start standing against Dick Cheney?

Um, many liberals have PRAISED him for his stand against drones (including me) and criticized Obama strongly, so you’re wrong on that. Having said that, he’s not exactly 100% solid on civil rights issues, especially if you look at civil rights issues OTHER than drones:1. He supports military tribunals and keeping Guantanamo Bay open2. He has said he would support jailing people who attend “radical” speeches3. He supports surveillance as a general practice for people such as foreign exchange students4. He opposed the parts of the Civil Rights Act that forced private businesses to end segregation (though later he claimed to oppose efforts to repeal it)…And by the way, do you consider George W. Bush a tyrant as well? Fair’s fair — he’s the one who started extraordinary renditions, torture, and judicial murder in the form of military tribunals.
