I don’t like the subject of this week’s panels so far. Too much of the “looks of love” from Joy (yes, “chills, queasiness and a bit of lightheadedness” on my part)..If this pattern continues shortages of BB will occur. Susan and Marg: Man the phonelines.
How would she have a roll of the toilet paper, was Burl peppering the house with whole rolls instead of throwing them to unravel in the trees. Maybe Ma went out and salveged it for Joy to use, not considering the romance of the gesture. I am sure Ma would have a different memory, if she has any.
I think the cold chills come from just sitting in Joy’s house, you could catch almost anything in there. Is there a TP shrine somewere? and the only dunce cap seems to be on Burl’s head (as usual)
I thought the TP ritual was for the football players. My sons were encouraged to play gymnastics (the 2 older and thinner) and wrestling (the younger one w more weight). I did not want anyone doing football. My X made a pest of himself on the phone until I finally agreed to marry him. He was no more romantic than Burl tho’.
