Unless I’m missing something, this is not only more irrelevant as Anderson’s cartoon this morning, but it also not funny to the point of being vulgar. Nearly 2000 people died on the Titanic. Barring illnesses from being exposed to sewage, I’ve only heard of one person who had a heart attack on the Triumph and she was air evac’d by the coast guard. This cartoon is bad, Mr. Breen, and hurtful. Painfully,C.

Carnival’s ships don’t earn when they’re in port for maintenance or repairs, so since money is what matters, and labor can’t be cut further since they already pay so little that only the desperate will work on the ships, no preventive maintenance or effective repairs gets done. The ships are flagged in countries that won’t enforce maritime safety or labor rules. These issues are all about corporate greed, folks. The CEO’s apology was hypocritical since he’s the one leading the problems.

Don’t like being in crowded environments on land, a cruise ship is a floating shopping mall, that given recent history, may travel just about as fast.

Woudn’t get on any trip with the people in “the latest” Carnival Cruiseline Disaster.

Ship catches fire, toilets overflow, tugboat rope / chain breaks, bus breaks down.

Reporter sees ship in the distance and says: “The ship is within smelling distance”. Would Make Be A Great Ad For Carnival!!!
