I was born in ’84. The only known 80s items I have are the trilogy of “The Karate Kid”… on DVD (donated my VHSs of them to a thrift shop at which I volunteer; I even asked for Miyagi/LaRusso on DVD for Christmas last year).
The problem with retro fashion is that it’s just slightly different than the original, so if you wear your old clothes, you’ll still be out of fashion.
Except for when my kids were born and loving and then enjoying them, my best years were enjoyed in the late 50’s and early 60’s until I started junior high school in 1966. Back when life was still sweet and innocent, you know?

The 80’s – double polo shirts, Nike shoes, big hair, new wave music. It was a great time to be 20 something and out on the prowl!
