You know…Emmy Lou was Marty’s comic character but Marty was such a character in her own personal life. She’d do and say things where I’d go…“OMG”. Here’s one.
One day I’m at her house and I’m watching TV and she’s putzing around. All of a sudden I feel this hard object on the top of my head and I look around and she has her wood yard stick in her hands. I said, “Marty…what are you doing?!”. She said, “I’m measuring the bald spot on the top of your head. It’s 2 1/4 inches”. I said, “Well that’s good, and please be sure to tell me when it gets to 3 inches and I’ll start buying Rogaine!”. And then she measured it again the next time I was over there!!!
Hi dheine1971! It’s coming!! Our web designer is doing the finishing touches early week here and we’re looking to go live Friday. Based on the comments here…I really wanted to make sure the site was interactive so that everyone could participate if they wanted too. Maybe a little bit of Emmy Lou 2.0!! Thanx for asking!!
