    Good morning fellow DT fans…

Amazing how quickly the pieces fall into place.

I’m going to go out on a limb and proffer the idea that Sweatbox is a Red Herring in this story!

the thought has also occurred to me, Jelly…. He seemed genuinely surprised about the extra skeletons in the tomb…. or he’s a really good liar

At SDM, who needs Michigan J Frog? Have you forgotten the obscure 1940s Sailor villain, the one who sold the maps of Pearl Harbour to the Japanese? ……

I’m liking this storyline so far. Seems to be a meaty one that you can sink your teeth into.

I like this group. Maybe the only one that doesn’t throw obscenities at each other. Good morning indeed.

The above cartoon is a perfect example of why I use the computer to letter my drawings, generally

Is the identification of the Cold Case victim secure? Could Sweatbox actually be Simon Baux, arch-criminal and responsible for the numerous skeletal remains in the family vault? So many possibilities in this baffling case!

Ok, I am LOVING this story for a few reasons… 1) Lee Ebony is getting some SERIOUS “air time” in it 2) JUNIOR TRACY makes an appearance (tho why the police sketch artist is on the case is beyond me unless it’s to possibly recreate the person’s image that goes with the skeletons using digital imaging.. but i digress lol) and Team Tracy (in the strip, not the creators) are using some good old fashioned detective work! I wonder… will Tracy stumble across… MOON MAID in the cemetery? Could the remains found in Baux Hall Vault actually be FAILED CLONE ATTEMPTS at bringing back Mysta? Stay tuned Tracy-o-Philes.. its gettin GOOD! :)

Excellent use of the three panels: Junior in profile, Classic Tracy and silhouette Tracy with winged statue and other cemetery accoutrements. The more detailed set up is paying dividends.

This is really good. Was the confession written by Simon/Sweatbox to frame his brother? And who put the bones in the vault? And whose bones are they? And why?Great art today, too – especially panel 3!

Possibility: Simon “sweat” Baux committed murder back in the day; the “cold case”. Sealed up the evidence, and that was it for him—and many years later hired an assistant who’s a serial killer and has been stashing his victims in the conveniently never-visited tomb.

Ok, I’m starting to lose interest here… Can we get a little less rambling and more storyline?

Greyolddave, see? I told ya! Works every time! If I had enough space here, I could tell you the names, nicknames, and aliases he goes by. But (alas), the comment boxes aren’t large enough. Also watch for inane gifs, also a trademark. Between him and Al Gore, he invented them.

Does the winged statue in panel 3 look like a vulture to anyone besides me?

Sooner or later it will tie into Japanese-Americans being incarcerated in ‘concentration camps’.

I’ve been following, haven’t commented here much. I had no idea that George Takei was that old, I knew he was no spring chicken but still, being alive back in the days of Japanese internment in the US gives him a few birthdays. Currently, I enjoy watching Tracy doing real detective work.

Panel 3 is very reminiscent of Will Eisner’s “Spirit.” Nice touch, Joe & Mike.

“The confession is genuine, and is part of the Stephen Baux case. . .” What exactly does that mean? The paper is old enough to be from the 1940s? The details of the confession match the known facts? How do the police know it is genuine? And when were we told that Sweatbox’s first name is Simon? I feel like I missed a big piece of the puzzle some how. I went back and read the last few days, but something still feels missing.

Matt, why did you liken me to Moe of the Three Stooges? That wasn’t nice. And you wonder why people jump on your case! I learned early on that a person gets more (of whatever you envision) by being the gentleman at all times. Looks like GC’s Moderator shares my viewpoint!

I really like Tracy getting a chance to think about things rather than rush to a conclusion (or running away). With everyone working together, this feels like a Gould or Fletcher story.

I’m still thinking that Steven and Simon were twins and that it’s the wrong one that was in the crypt

Or in other words, Stephan was a killer, but, his brother died in his stead; thus the present Simon IS Stephen… the real Simon is in the crypt
